Craig is a Geotechnical Engineer with the Geotechnical Engineering Bureau of the New York State Department of Transportation. Previous work experience includes the Commissioner of Public Works for the Town of Glenville, a Civil Engineer at New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, and Former Department Chair of Engineering, Architecture, Construction and Mathematics at Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC). Craig has been a member of the Engineers Week Planning Committee since 2007.

While a Managing Environmental Engineer at C.T. Male Associates Engineering, Surveying, Architecture, Landscape Architecture & Geology, D.P.C. since 1997, Jeff has also been involved with the E-Committee since 2007. Jeff has had many roles including committee member, chair (2009-2012), co-chair, seminar moderator and continuing education program evaluator. Jeff’s career passion relates to working on environmental and civil engineering related projects but understands the huge value in providing continuing educational opportunities to his peers for all types of engineering and mentoring the younger community on what engineering is all about.

Andrea is a Licensed Professional Engineer at the New York State Department of Transportation in the Office of Structures. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University and a Master of Science degree in Bridge Engineering from the University at Buffalo.

Jen started with The New York State Society of Professional Engineers (NYSSPE) in 1995. In 1997 she took over as Event Coordinator for The Capital District’s Engineers Week event under NYSSPE sister association The Foundation for Engineering Education (FEE).
Jeff is Principal Structural Engineer with Spring Line Design Architecture + Engineering in East Greenbush, NY. He has served on the E-Week committee and assisted with the High School Model Bridge Competition since 2011.

Gerard is an environmental engineer with more than 35 years of experience in construction management while performing site cleanup and remediation of landfills, hazardous waste sites and brownfields. His experience includes developing conceptual site models for sites and understanding the fate and transport of chemical releases through different environmental media. Gerard currently works at Anchor QEA as a managing engineer. He previously worked at the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation where he directed and implemented the New York State (NYS) Brownfield Cleanup Program in New York City (NYC). Gerard received a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering, from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1986.
CJ is the Owner and Principal Engineer at Conflux Engineering PLLC in Troy, NY, which specializes in mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering for clients across the Capital District and beyond. A 2008 graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, CJ also serves on the board of the Capital District Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers

John is the Principal at Golde Engineering, P.C., an electrical engineering consulting firm located in Greenwich, NY. He is the PDH Coordinator for the Schenectady Section of IEEE and Past President of the Tri-County Chapter of NYSSPE, where he has been Co-Chairman of the MATHCOUNTS Program since the 1990’s.

Retired structural engineer has been a member of the New York State Society of Professional Engineers and a member of the Society of American Military Engineers for over 35 years. He is a graduate from Hudson Valley College and the State University of New York at Buffalo.

Gary is a Licensed Professional Engineer at the New York State Thruway Authority in the Albany Division Maintenance Engineering Office. He is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and SUNY Institute of Technology at Utica Rome. His background ranges from heavy highway Construction and Maintenance, Structural and Highway design, and residential design. He is also an adjunct professor at HVCC in the Civil Engineering Technology program. The passion for engineering developed at a young age on his family’s farm playing in the dirt and keeping everything in working order. Innovative ideas, gut instinct, and process adjustments to streamline and do more with less…while following sound engineering practices is always at the forefront of his decision making.

Experience in manufacturing engineering, product engineering, manufacturing management, application engineering as well as sales and product management. Application experience in low voltage harmonic mitigation, power factor analysis and remediation as well as high voltage surge and lightning protection.

Tim is the committee’s leader of the High School Model Bridge Competition and Middle School Catwalk Competition. Tim is a Licensed Professional Engineer at Enginuity Engineering Design, PLLC, and is associated with Structural Engineering Institute (SEI) Mohawk-Hudson Chapter.
SEI M-H Chapter
David retired in 2016 from the US Army Benet Laboratories, located at the Watervliet Arsenal. He was the program manager for several major weapons systems during his time at Benet. He started an independent engineer practice in 2007 focusing on residential and small commercial projects in the Capital District area.
Don is a Clarkson Graduate whose expertise is in the areas of materials, construction, and research, with a focus on concrete. He retired from the NYSDOT after 35 years of service and currently works for the New York Construction Materials Association as Vice President of the Concrete Division. Don is active locally with the Eastern NY Chapter of the American Concrete Institute. He has been active with the Transportation Research Board for 30 years and currently is a Board Member of the Materials Section and the Transportation Infrastructure Group.

Phill is a Structural Engineer with Spring Line Design Architecture + Engineering in East Greenbush, NY. He is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology and was Chair of the SEI Mohawk-Hudson Chapter in 2020. Since 2014 his experience includes structural analysis, assessment, repair, retrofit, addition, and design of new buildings and building related structures in the Commercial, Education, Manufacturing, Municipal, and Water/Wastewater markets.
